Salesforce published a statement earlier this month about its evacuation of its business in Russia. However, the company said that it has a very small number of users in the country and that it had already started quiting those relationships the week before. In a statement, Slack told Axios:
Slack is required to take action to comply with sanctions regulations in the U.S. and other countries where we operate, including in some circumstances suspending accounts without prior notice, as mandated by law. We are in contact with affected customers regarding the impact of these actions on their account status, where permitted by law.
Meanwhile, the sanctioned companies won't have authority to their data until when the international sanction are lifted. Nevertheless, Slack isn't formating their data or information.
Slack is a San Francisco based company that was acquired by salesforce.com inc in 2020. Many International companies have been evacuating Russia following the sanctions against the country.
Some weeks back, Amazon inc's cloud division said it would be declining new signup from Russian, and Microsoft Corp. said it would be csuspending new sales in the nation.
